There's a sidewalk near my parents house where we carved our names in concrete,
across the street from the park where we all used to meet,
and it's not the physicality of drying cement,
but the words and where we carved them and what this all meant.
I don't know when this came to me or how it got this far,
all I can say is that our fate is more than who we are.
I've been running round in circles, and stumbling for days,
I'd write it down if I could only find the words to say.

Walking home from Bullcreek Station somehow made me think of you,
the trouble we would cause and all the shit that we would do.
We saved up all our money and we got matching tattoos,
mine has a spelling error but it makes me think of you.
